Opportunities
The American Red Cross is a not for profit organization led by
volunteers. We need you to help to fulfill our mission to provide the
safest, most reliable, most cost-effective blood, plasma and tissue services
to the American people through voluntary donations. There are numerous
volunteer opportunities for you to help the American Red Cross Blood
Program in your community. Volunteer Positions are available for people
of all ages and interests, and flexible time schedules and locations are offered.
We realize the value of your time and knowledge. We will work with you to
find the position best suited to your skills and availability in your neighborhood.
Free training is provided for all volunteer opportunities.
Blood Service Volunteers are needed to assist at all bloodmobiles and collection sites throughout the Penn-Jersey Region. Volunteers register blood donors, assist in the donor room and refreshment areas. These important positions are filled with wonderful, caring volunteers who help make the blood donation experience pleasant, efficient and satisfying to our donors.
Office Volunteer Positions
Our local office needs administrative assistance with a variety of items including the monthly newsletter, assembling recruitment packages, conducting training activities, community recruitment activities, general office and computer work and so much more! Put your administrative expertise to good use!
